Ashley Flaga | Founder & Bookkeeper
Ashley Flaga is the founder of Lírai Virtual Bookkeeping, LLC, a virtual bookkeeping company helping small businesses around the country achieve financial clarity. (Lírai is pronounced like “lee-rye,” and Hungarian for “lyric.”)
Growing up the daughter of a CPA/CFO dad and a high-school math teacher-turned-realtor mom, Ashley has always excelled in math, spreadsheets, and balancing a checkbook. Before starting Lírai Virtual Bookkeeping in 2020, Ashley gained experience as a bookkeeper and office manager for a local HVAC and plumbing company. Within her position, she has increased her knowledge of bookkeeping and Quickbooks, giving her the ability to bring more clarity to the company’s financials, thus increasing annual revenue. Additionally, Ashley is a certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor, and is continually educating herself, leveraging other courses Quickbooks offers and working toward the Advanced certification.
Ashley separates herself from average bookkeepers because of her knowledge and experience with business ownership. Owning her own wedding planning firm since 2017, Ashley understands the importance of organization, timelines/deadlines, and properly tracking income and expenses, especially before tax season (or wedding day) arrives.
Ashley lives in Kentucky with her husband, Christopher, their daughter, and their dog and cat. She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, cooking, renovating their home, tailgating, playing fantasy football, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats and the New England Patriots.

Christopher Flaga | Co-Founder & Director of Business Development
Coming from a long line of tradesmen, and having worked as a unionized plumber/pipe-fitter for a period of his life, Christopher Flaga not only knows the meaning of hard work, he is the definition of it. His determination, inclusivity, energy, and charisma make him an asset to our team when it comes to client relations and business innovation.
Prior to Lírai, Christopher gained first-hand knowledge and experience with business development when he co-founded a local company. Aside from self-built ventures, Christopher has worked for a corporate company since 2016, and has successfully built teams of people from all different backgrounds, taking stores with the lowest producing numbers to the top 10% in the company. He has a way with people and he understands the importance of accountability, honesty, and communication.
In his free time, Christopher enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, family and friends. He’s a bourbon aficionado, kitchen & grill master, and a fan of music and sports. Originally from Michigan, Christopher cheers for the Detroit Red Wings, and prays for the Detroit Lions. When it comes to the NCAA, his heart is divided between UK and Michigan.
